What are the aims of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030?

Initially, The tourism sector is recognized as a vital component of the Vision 2030 objectives, which include three primary goals and five specific targets for the tourism industry.

Firstly, Vision 2030 aims to create a vibrant society. To achieve this, Saudi Arabia aims to strengthen Islamic values and national identity. The tourism sector is expected to promote Saudi Arabia as a destination for 30 million international Umrah visitors.

Secondly, Vision 2030 aims to create a thriving economy. As part of this, it hopes to grow and diversify the economy, in which the tourism sector will contribute 10% of GDP. Strengthen the local private sector and attract foreign direct investment (FDI).
Moreover, there is a goal to increase employment, and the tourism sector should contribute 1.6 million jobs and drive youth employment.

Thirdly, Vision 2030 aims to foster an ambitious nation. To achieve this, Saudi Arabia will enhance government effectiveness.
